Hey Cat Talk reader! My name is Emilie and I am a junior here at Millbrook. Although this is my first year writing for the Newspaper, I've always had a love for reading and writing. I am very exited to be writing my regular feature, It's Debatable, which involves controversial issues. I run varsity Cross Country, Indoor, and Spring track at Millbrook and commit majority of my free time to running. I started running in 7th grade and the little hobby quickly transformed into a driving passion. I'm not sure if you can tell, but I really like running (maybe a little too much sometimes). In addition to reading and writing, I enjoy sharing chicken nuggets and cheese with my dog, hiking in neighbors' yards with my two younger brothers, and learning to knit with my Nana. I'm exited to experience the new challenges that this year brings and hope that you are too. Happy reading!
