The outstanding Netflix show, ‘Outer Banks ‘ made its debut in 2020 with just 10 episodes. It quickly captured the attention of viewers ; not only because of the series ‘intensity but also because of the cast’s chemistry on and off the screen. Season 3 was filled with tears, joy, and betrayal. Fans are eager to see what the pogues will get up to next season. Season 3 focused on John B and his friends looking for his father, who disappeared after looking for treasure.
Season 4 will focus on the Pogues finally living a normal, drama free life. The Pogues will be based in a new haven that they call Poguelandia 2.0 where they will live and run a very successful tour shop. “While trying to live a normal life the Pogues “ will have to face adversity in their relationships, themselves, and reality.
The Season 4s cast will consist of Chase Stokes ( John B ), Madeleine Cline ( Sarah Cameron ), Madison Bailey ( Kierra Carrera ), Jonathan Daviss ( Pope Heyward ), Carlacia Grant ( Cleo ), Rudy Pankow ( JJ Maybank ), Austin North ( Topper ), Drew Starkey ( Rafe Cameron ).
In addition to the character’s returning , six new faces will be introduced to the Poguelandia Journey.
David Jensen will be joining the Poguelandia adventure as Wes Grenrette, a treasure hunter that was introduced at the end of the third season. Chandler Groff will be played by J. Anthony Crane; a man who has suffered personal loss. Pollyanna McIntosh, former ‘The Walking Dead’ star, will portray the role of Dalia; a leader who has a plan up her sleeves. Brianna Brown will be portraying Hollis Robinson; a former associate of Ward Cameron, who is plotting an adventure with Rafe Cameron. OBX will also welcome newcomers Rigo Sanchez & Mia Challis will portray an obnoxious character called Lightner; who is mysterious with a Pirates edge to him. Mia Challis will portray Ruthie who is a wild spirit strangely close to Topper.
Season 4 began filming the summer of 2023, but production was put on hold because of the Writer’s Strike. In November 2023, the cast began filming in Wilmington, North Carolina. Filming finally wrapped in June 2024.
Teasers have been released to build excitement for the upcoming season. They show the group going on an adventure for the Blackbeards Treasure, which takes them on a very big and tropical journey.
