- Looksmaxxing
To start the list is looksmaxxing. Looksmaxxing is maximizing one’s physical attractiveness. In this case, attractiveness is measured by your jawline, physique, and eyes. “Looksmaxers”, people who participate in looksmaxxing, mew to maximize their jawline shape. Once a looksmaxer maximizes their attractiveness, they can “mog” other people. Mogging is looking more attractive than others and overall dominating others in attractiveness levels. This term lacks versatility, but it is still a W.
- Skibidi Toilet
Skibidi Toilet is a machinima web series of YouTube videos and shorts created by Alexey Gerasimov and uploaded on his YouTube channel DaFuq!?Boom! The series is about “toilet people” who want to take over the world. The series soon grew in popularity on YouTube and TikTok. The YouTube channel also grew massively similar to the low taper fade. It grew from five million on May 15, 2023, to 44 million subscribers on January 8, 2025. The meme is massive and funny but isn’t multifaceted, so it is ninth. Sophomore and Skibidi Toilet fan Constance Clemons said, “Skibidi toilet rizz.”
- The Costco Guys
“We bring the boom!” is a song by A.J. Befumo and his son, Big Justice. The song is about their rating system, BOOM or DOOM! The channel started with only the duo rating food but later developed into a family channel with his daughter, Ashley Befumo, and wife, Erika Befumo, joining the channel. They have appeared on Jimmy Fallon, attended a Knicks Celebrity game, ran on the field at a Florida Atlantic University football game, and have hung out with GaryVee. AJ also wrestled at All Elite Wrestling, and Saturday Night Live did a skit about them. They bring the boom and wholesome content, so they get number eight.

Sigma’s play by their own rules. They are powerful but silent and rebellious. Similar to the alpha wolf, sigmas are better than betas. This is high on the list because it has influenced looksmaxxing. People who looksmax can become sigmas, and those who are sigmas are usually also looksmaxxers. An example of a sigma is the overthinking hooper; he is strong, nonchalant, and rebellious. He is always practicing and improving his basketball skills. Some famous terms are “erm, what the sigma!” and “sigma boy”. Sigmas have an infinite aura in Ohio and even have a song named after them by the Russian pop group Betsy.

Aura is used to measure how cool someone is. This is calculated through aura points. The scale is from negative infinity to positive infinity. You can gain aura points by acting nonchalant or “rizzing” the “huzz” and “bruzz.” Having the most aura points makes a person the coolest alpha in the room.
- Tiktok Rizz Party
The Tiktok Rizz party gained popularity in early 2024. This party had “Blue Tie Guy”, “Turkish Quandale Dingle”, and many others attending the party. The “Blue Tie Guy” is the group’s leader and a Sigma alpha wolf. Dingle is known as the best dancer. The group became famous for singing Carnival by Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, and ¥$. Posters were made to promote the party. Their dedication earns them fifth place!
- Vexbolts Unfollowing
The Vexbolts mass unfollowing occurred at 11:59 PM on December 31, 2024. Vexbolts is a Tiktok personality who created the “Let Him Cook” meme. His fans planned to unfollow him because they wanted to “leave him in 2024”. He went from 1.6 million followers to 8 million followers leading up to the event. On December 31, he lost 5 million followers. On January 5, he made a mass refollowing. He went up to 4.9 million followers, and he left 2024.
- Low Taper Fade
The low taper fade meme is high in the rankings because it is massive. Ericdoa, a hip-hop and pop artist, created the meme. While performing on a Twitch livestream, he started singing, “Imagine if Ninja got a low taper fade”. The meme started getting massive after that moment. Ninja, the Fortnite streamer, continued to drag out the meme, and it stayed relevant throughout the year.
- Huzz
The huzz are people you find attractive. If Duke Dennis does something to impress his crush, he can say, “Anything for the huzz.” If Dennis is doing something embarrassing, you can respond, “In front of the huzz?”. There is also “chuzz” (chopped or ugly huzz), “empluzzed” (employed huzz), “unempluzzed” (unemployed huzz), and so many more combinations.
- Rizz
The brain rot of the year is “rizz”. Oxford University Press defines rizz as style, charm, or attractiveness; the ability to attract a romantic or sexual partner. Oxford University Press awarded it word of the year in 2023. Oxford University said, “Our language experts chose rizz as an interesting example of how language can be formed, shaped, and shared within communities before being picked up more widely in society. It speaks to how younger generations now have spaces, online or otherwise, to own and define the language they use.” It was started in 2021 by the influencer, Kai Cenat and continues to remain popular; it has influenced other brain rot. There is L rizz, W rizz, negative rizz, skibidi rizz and even infinite rizz. It has also been used to create nicknames for those with infinite rizz. Examples are the Rizzard of Oz, the rizzly bear, a degree in quantum rizzics, lord of the Rizz, and the Rizz God.
