As Millbrook starts the spring semester of another remarkable school year, the annual Winterfest took place on Valentine’s Day. During the celebration, the outstanding seniors were recognized for going above and beyond in not only academic, extracurricular, but community contributions as well. The students recognized were well deserved as they move on from high school setting a high standard for future generations. Serving as an inspiration to all, they will leave an extensive mark on campus, as they are now ready to face the future and leave a lasting impact on the world. Below are all of the seniors recognized. Congratulations!
Sawyer Graham: Sawyer Graham is a creative and dependable leader, and is most known for his achievements as senior Class President for two years, and his leadership in Culture Club. He also excels in the arts, specifically in piano which he has played for 12 years. He will be attending North Carolina State University, majoring in -accounting.
Jorjoh Samba: Jorjoh Samba is a dedicated leader at Millbrook, recognized for her involvement in the African Student Union, Millbrook Executive Board (MEB), and the 2025 yearbook editor. She also participates in various clubs, including Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). She is committed to attending East Carolina University to major in social work as she aspires to be a therapist.
BreAnna McMillan: BreAnna McMillan is known for her passion for volleyball, recording 1000 assists in her high school career. She’s most involved in Best Buds and FCCLA. Many describe her as energetic, kind and a friend to all. She plans to study biomedical engineering at the University of South Florida while also continuing volleyball.
Giovanna Hunter: Giovanna is recognized for her exceptional leadership and dedication to Millbrook. She is the president for MEB, and she has a hand in many major events around school. She is an active member in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program and the varsity softball team. In her post secondary education, she wants to major in political science and pursue law school.
Xavier Brown: Xavier Brown has made a significant impact through his extensive involvement. He is a part of multiple clubs which include the IB Equity and Access Committee, English and Music honor societies, and Black Student Union. Brown plans to pursue civil engineering and violin performance in college.
Kenley Belcher: Kenley Belcher is a standout student, athlete and leader. She maintains a 4.0 GPA, serves as editor-in-chief of the Cat Talk Newspaper, and is a member of four honor societies and class council. Belcher also participates in cross country and track and leads sports medicine for wrestling. She has been accepted to several top universities and plans to pursue nursing to become a trauma nurse.
Annaka Boyd: Annka Boyd excels in academics, athletics, and leadership here at Millbrook. She’s an active member of the IB program, multiple honor societies, and has earned all-conference honors in soccer. She leads JROTC’s raider and archery teams, all while having founded the Aviation Club. She plans to attend the Citadel on a soccer scholarship, majoring in intelligence and security studies, and she strives for a career in aviation.
Dulce Marban: Dulce Marban has made a remarkable impact on campus, as she excels academically and in her various leadership roles. She serves as the vice president of MEB and co-president of the National Achievers Society, and will be graduating high school with her associates degree. She will be attending North Carolina State University in the fall, majoring in chemical engineering with hopes of working for NASA.
Lucy Ellis: Lucy Ellis is a standout athlete and also excels in soccer, basketball, and flag football. She has earned the NAC-6 player of the year award for flag football and is very active in clubs as well. She’s an active member of the MEB and National Honor Society (NHS) while thriving in the IB program. She plans to attend UNC Chapel Hill to study Biology and go to medical school.
Molly Clemmer: Molly Clemmer is an outstanding senior at Millbrook, as she’s recognized for her leadership and academic success. She’s been Co-President of the Science Honor Society, involved in NHS, and served in many school activities. Clemmer will attend NC State University to study Agriculture Business Management.
Peyton Cleveland: Peyton Cleveland excels in leadership, academics, and extracurriculars. She’s led Fellow Christians Athlete (FCA), Campus Light Bible Study, and Young Life, while also captaining NCFC. Cleveland is also a NHS member. Cleveland will attend East Carolina University’s Honors College for interior design. Her strong work ethic and ability to connect with others make her a standout at Millbrook.
Matthew Digby: Matthew Digby, excels in academics, leadership, and kindness. He’s held leadership roles in FFA, lacrosse, and Best Buds, and is a NHS member. His hard work earned him a scholarship to the University of Tennessee, where he plans to major in Biosystems Engineering.
Lane Ivy: Lane Ivy, excelled academically with a 4.5 GPA and a 35 ACT score, earning honors like the AP Scholar Award. He also served as a captain on the football team and participated in NHS. Ivy will attend North Carolina State University to study business administration and pursue a career in leadership.
Sophia Martinez: Sophia Martinez, co-founded the Early Pages Project and excelled in the IB program. Passionate about psychology, she plans to major in it in college and become a child psychologist. Known for her leadership, kindness, and academic success, Martinez is admired by teachers and peers alike. She leaves Millbrook with a bright future ahead.
Lisette Hunter: Lisette Hunter, excels academically and in leadership, serving as president of the French Honor Society and an active FFA member. Despite challenges, she stayed focused on her goals. Accepted to James Madison University, Lisette plans to pursue biochemistry and a career in toxicology. Her family and teachers commend her strong work ethic and positive influence.
