Summers in Raleigh are the perfect time to enjoy live music. Raleigh is home to some amazing concert venues that feature a variety of incredible artists. Whether you are into rock, country, or pop, there is something for everyone to enjoy. With a packed schedule at all venues, the summer of 2025 is going to be unforgettable for music lovers.
Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek
Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek is one of Raleigh’s biggest outdoor concert venues. It hosts major artists every year, and can hold around 20,500 people, making it one of the most popular concert options. This event site includes a covered and uncovered seating area and a huge lawn. Like many summers before, Coastal Credit Union Music Park has a packed lineup with music for everyone to enjoy. Tyler Childers started the season off with his concert on April 23. Up next will be RÜFÜS DU SOL on May 9, and Halsey on May 29. Keith Urban takes the stage on May 31. One of the biggest country music stars, Luke Bryan, brings his summer tour on June 7. Newcomer Riley Green takes the stage on June 14, and Avril Lavigne just three days later. On June 20, KIDZ BOP brings a fun, family-friendly atmosphere to the stage. July starts off with Rod Stewart on the 8, followed by The Offspring on the 16. On the 22, Cyndi Lauper performs her emotional “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour”. To close the month of July out, the Outlaw Festival comes on the 27, featuring Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan. August brings big country stars with Dierks Bentley on the 8 and Jason Aldean on the 21. Fans can also come see the “Where the Party At” tour featuring Nelly, Ja Rule, and Eve, where they play some throwback hits on September 13. The Lumineers close out the concert season on September 16. This year’s concerts at Coastal Credit Union Music Park are going to be memorable.
Lenovo Center
Lenovo Center, formerly known as PNC Arena, is a popular event venue in Raleigh. While it is best known for being the home of the Carolina Hurricanes and the N.C. State Basketball Team, it also hosts many concerts every year. Since opening in 1999, it has hosted over 2000 events. It has a seating capacity of up to 21,000 for concerts and holds about 150 events annually. This summer season at the Lenovo Center kicks off on May 6 with Linkin Park, followed by two nights of Pearl Jam on June 11 and 13. June brings Wu-Tang Clan on the 7 and Lil Baby on the 15. In July, you can see Tyler, the Creator on the 12 and Ghost on the 15. If you wanted to switch things up, you could see comedian Nate Bargatze’s “Big Dumb Eyes World Tour” stand-up show on the 17 or 18. August includes Katy Perry on the 17 and Shinedown on the 21. On August 31, you can catch Disney’s “Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour”. The concert season concludes in September with 9 Inch Nails on the 5 and Bring Me The Horizon on the 23.
Koka Booth Amphitheatre
Koka Booth Amphitheatre is an outdoor venue in Cary, North Carolina, next to Symphony Lake. This amphitheatre has a seating capacity of 7,000, featuring a Crescent Desk and a large lawn area. Koka Booth Amphitheatre is hosting a diverse lineup of concerts this summer. If you enjoy country music, be sure to check out the B-Bash on May 10, featuring artists like Chris Janson and Parmalee, supporting the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. On May 17, Kool & The Gang will perform a Hall of Fame Celebration, making sure to play their hits like “Celebration” and “Ladies Night”. Indie rock fans can enjoy Toad the Wet Sprocket’s “Good Intentions” tour on August 21, with KT Tunstall and Sixpence None the Richer. These highly anticipated events are sure to make Koka Booth Amphitheatre one of the top destinations for live music this summer.
Raleigh’s 2025 summer concert season is set to be one of the best yet, with a mix of talented performers and entertaining shows.
