Nabisco has announced the latest chocolate cookie sandwich flavor: the firework Oreo. This new flavor is basically your original creme flavor but with a slightly different gritty texture with red and blue coloring. Reports have said the newest flavor is enjoyable and a fun seasonal treat for the upcoming holiday, the Fourth of July. For those who think that the original flavor may be too dull, Nabisco is taking on the same trend as Lay’s potato chips with the Do Us a Flavor contests announcing a $500,000 prize for its next Oreo flavor. The contest will run through July 14 and will be accepting submissions through Twitter and Instagram using #MyOreoCreation and #Contest hashtags.
