Happy Halloween! To help get you into the Halloween mood, Millbrook High School will be hosting a Halloween themed movie night on Friday, October 27. The movie, Halloweentown, will start promptly at 8pm with the gates opening at 7:45pm. Millbrook Executive Board, or MEB, and the class councils are arranging the event, with all proceeds from food sales going to the Food Drive. Izzy Morgan, head of the Movie Night Committee, said, “I am so excited for movie night and cannot wait to raise money for the food drive.”

Many students are excited to be attending this Friday’s movie night, students like senior, Kayla Mercer: “Since it is my last year, I definitely want to go and make some more memories with my friends. Movie night is gonna be LIT!!!!!” Another student, sophomore Natalie Maron, is excited to be going to movie night as well. She said, “I am excited to see how movie night turns out. As a member of MEB, I get to help set up and arrange the event. I know it is gonna be an amazing night, and I cannot wait to enjoy it with my friends!” MEB has really made an effort to get the student body more involved in their decisions. One of the ways they did that for this event is asking the student body what movie they should show. Halloweentown was chosen this past week by a Twitter poll run by the @millbrookevents twitter.

So if you are free this Friday night and you want to take part in one of the most memorable nights of the school year, make sure to come out and enjoy movie night with the rest of the student body. Remember that tickets are free, but you need to bring some extra money for snacks. Come out and support your MHS student government this Friday at 8pm!
