Shopping for high quality, affordable gifts
December 10, 2017
With the holiday season just around the corner, everyone is probably running around buying last minute Christmas gifts. However, at this time of year, it is easy to get roped into several Secret Santa gift exchanges on top of remembering to buy gifts for friends and family. So, when you have many gifts to buy, and not a ton of your paycheck or allowance left, here are some suggestions to make shopping inexpensive and hassle- free.
To start it off, a really good website to look at to find the perfect gift for various family members is www.redbookmag.com. They have a wide range of gifts under $20 that appeal to most girls, including Grilled Cheese Toaster Bags, which allow you to make the perfect grilled cheese in your toaster. There is also a Solo Motion Speaker which is bluetooth and allows you to play your music in a portable and fun way. These gifts would make any family member happy.
A few gifts that would be perfect for any friend or family member who are a little bit geeky can be found on www.thinkgeek.com. There is a wide variety of gifts that are priced under $10, but are still good quality. These gifts range from Stranger Things Funko POP! Figures, Star Wars koozies, to Harry Potter mugs. All of these great gifts and many more would be perfect for any friend or family member obsessed with TV shows or movies.
For any friends and family members who might need athletic equipment, check out www.verywell.com for a few ideas for the athletes in your life. One gift is Trigger Point Massage Balls, which are $20, and help to target specific areas of pain by applying pressure to them, making it great for any athlete. Another would be Injinji Toesocks that only cost $12. These socks are great for any athlete who runs a lot, as they prevent your toes from rubbing and are also super comfortable. Another great gift idea is Stretching by Bob Anderson for $14. This book has numerous stretches aimed at specific sports as well as helping to cool down after a particularly tough workout.
Sophomore Zoe Beltz said, “I do a lot of online shopping for Christmas. I like to buy stickers off of a website called www.redbubble.com. They have a variety of different stickers for low prices that I like to buy for people to place on their laptops or phones.” They have many stickers ranging from TV show characters, different bands, and even funny quotes from Vine.
Hopefully this holiday season will be both fun and easy when it comes to doing your shopping. These and many other reasonably priced gifts will help anyone who is trying to buy for multiple people, but who also has a tight budget. Hopefully these websites will help you find a gift perfect for everyone that will not kill your wallet.

I think this is a great article. It is also really good advice for those of us who have a limited amount of funds in our pockets this holiday season. I love shopping at ThinkGeek online and in store, but during December I try to stay out of the mall. There is currently an online sale that has T-shirts for about $5. Which is amazing! I hope people have checked into it after reading your suggestions.
