Principal of Millbrook retiring

A. McCloskey

Posing for a picture, Mrs. King smiles brightly into the camera. After fifteen great years as principal, Mrs. King is retiring.

The principal we have all come to know and love, Dana King, is retiring much sooner than many expected. Recently, the rumors of her coming retirement has been confirmed, and this year will be her last year as the head of our school. Mrs. King graduated from Miami University (of Ohio) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, and then received her Masters in School Administration from Xavier University. From there, she went on to teach middle school Language Arts and high school English in Ohio, Massachusetts, and California. Both of her children graduated from Millbrook, and she took over as principal of Millbrook in 2003. We have all loved having her here and leading our school into some of its best years, and we wish her the best in the coming years of retirement! Millbrook will miss you, Mrs. King.
