With Halloween right around the corner, there are many people who still have not gotten their costumes yet. Yes, trick or treating seems to be a little childish, but there is no reason not to dress up this year! Whether you are walking around your neighborhood with your little siblings, or going to a party, these Halloween costumes will make you look amazing!

Listen up couples: this one is for you. While typically couples stick to the classic Sandy and Danny costume from Grease or cops and robbers, this year there are many more trends going around to keep your costume fresh. Sully and Boo from Monsters Inc., Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy from Spongebob Squarepants, and Peppa and Jorge from Peppa Pig are all fun ideas if you and your boo want to have a silly costume. If you are looking for a cutesy costume, Betty and Jughead from Riverdale, Barbie and Ken, or a dentist and the Tooth Fairy are perfect for you.

What many people tend to struggle with is finding a Halloween costume for groups of people. Whether it is for a duo, trio, or a larger friend group, there are plenty of options for you! For big groups, try out being the seven dwarfs from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Senior Delfina Ortega said, “For Halloween, my friend Reagan and I tried to find costumes that went with each other. I was Captain America, and Reagan was Spiderman.” Smaller groups would thrive wearing costumes based off of different fruits, iPhone apps, or Teletubbies! For example, you can wear all yellow to represent a banana, SnapChat, or a Teletubbie. Girl groups would slay Halloween dressed up as Regina, Gretchen, Karen, and Cady from Mean Girls, characters from H20, or the Spice Girls.

DIY costumes are also very efficient and cheap! The classic black cat is a good last-minute move, consisting of an all-black outfit and drawn-on whiskers. Other simple ideas for all you procrastinators are sports players, a greek goddess, or a pumpkin. For dressing up as a sports player, all you will need is a uniform, if you have one, or a jersey and eye black. You can also carry around the ball that matches your sport. A Greek goddess seems to be complicated, but can be done with one material – a sheet! Wrap the sheet around your body to look like a toga, going over one shoulder and falling on you like a dress. Next, accessorize with gold jewelry, and get ready for the party! Making yourself into a pumpkin only requires a plain orange shirt and a little creativity. Cut and tape black shapes onto your shirt to make a face on the front.

With all of these costumes, you are sure to be looking your best this Halloween. Whether you are searching for the perfect costume with your significant other, or simply trying to throw something together last minute, there is no reason for you to not be slaying!
