Leslie Jordan Dead at 67

  Leslie Jordan, a comic actor who most notably starred in “Will & Grace” and “American Horror Story” and then achieved even more fame during the pandemic through Instagram and Tiktok, died in a car crash in Hollywood, California. 

  TMZ reported Jordan died after he suffered a suspected medical emergency while driving and crashed his BMW into the side of a building at 9:30 a.m on October 24th. 

  One of Jordan’s most celebrated roles was his turn as Earl “Brother Boy” Ingram in the stage play “Sordid Lives,” which later was adapted into a 2000 cult romantic comedy film of the same name. In 1993, he created his first autobiographical stage show, “Hysterical Blindness and Other Southern Tragedies That Have Plagued My Life Thus Far,” which ran for seven months off-Broadway at the SoHo Playhouse. 

  In 2020, Jordan became a social media phenomenon, gaining millions of Instagram and Tiktok followers and becoming the face of many funny memes.  

  Leslie Jordan shared a poignant original song with his Instagram followers one day before his death. Jordan shared a video Sunday in which he sang with his producer, Danny Myrick, captioning the post, “Sunday Mornin’ Hymn Singin.”
