Walking onto the stage in her hot red pantsuit, Hillary Clinton made her last appearance in North Carolina the morning of November 8. Around 1:00 in the morning, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, Lady Gaga, and Jon Bon Jovi took the stage at the Reynolds Coliseum on the NC State campus to tell North Carolina citizens about the importance of their vote. The 2016 election has been a tight race with scandals and infighting on both sides of the campaign. All candidates have been particularly focused on the state of North Carolina for the last few days of the campaign. The presidential candidates have fought for the important state that could either way this election day.

In the past, North Carolina has generally voted for the democratic candidate over the republican candidate. However, the 2016 republican candidate, Donald Trump, hopes to turn the tables in the state. With everything riding on this last push, both candidates have been adamant about every voter casting their vote. From experience, both sides of the political spectrum know that the smallest of votes can push their party ahead or bring them to their knees. With only so many hours left to go in the campaign, Hillary Clinton was sure to emphasize the importance of each North Carolinian voter.

Even with such a large audience Hillary Clinton gave a poised and elegant speech that managed to excite everyone and give them a sense of hope for the future. Ending her speech with roaring applause, the crowd with people of all sizes, shapes, religions, and races left the colosseum knowing how important each and every vote is this election day.
