Located in the heart of North Raleigh, Relish offers a great casual sit-down experience for everyone. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel the warm and welcoming environment. With tasteful decor and helpful staff, you are introduced into a high-end restaurant atmosphere without actually paying for that upscale price tag.

  Relish wants to celebrate people’s love for food, drinks, cooking, and entertainment. Its menu tries to give a modern take on those nostalgic southern comfort foods bringing family and friends together. If you decide to visit Relish, snagging an appetizer is a great way to start your meal. With many classic choices such as chips and salsa, and buffalo wings, the main ones I would recommend are the fried pickles and BBQ nachos. Moving onto the entrees, Relish has a variety of southern cuisine with its own modern twist but most popular is their famous selection of macaroni and cheese, grilled cheeses, chicken, and burgers. 

  I got the chance to talk to a long-time employee and waiter from Relish, Tony. When asked about his favorite meal Tony said, “I personally recommend the “Big Tony Burger”. It is very very good, and partially because it is named after me!” he proclaimed. The “Big Tony Burger” is composed of a beef patty topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, and Relish’s made-in-house bourbon jam. As an employee, Tony said he loves the environment he is surrounded by when working at Relish. “My favorite part of working here is talking and helping people around me every day.” he said.  

  Relish has a warm and welcoming environment, a great ambiance, with a classic homey yet modern take on southern cuisine.  Customers all around appreciate their efforts to make you feel at home. “My favorite part about this place is the outdoor scenery and the service. The service is great.” said a local customer named Kate.
