If you are a fan of crime and suspense, then I think this outstanding new television series could be for you.

The television series first aired on January 19th, 2025, catching the attention of millions in just the first 3 weeks of production. The show is based on the suspense of 5 detectives who are investigating and on a mission to catch serial killers who escaped from a top secret prison called the pit. The series is a spin-off of the novel published by Lucy Foley, which was originally based on friends who try to solve a murder mystery being locked in a snow lodge. So far 8 episodes have premiered on national television garnering positive reactions from viewers who have been in tune with the show since it first aired in January. 

   Following the first episode that was aired in January actress Melissa Roxburgh showcased her amazing acting skills while fighting to catch the notorious serial killer Richard Harris who caused an explosion to escape the secret prison. This caused Detective Henderson to come back into the crime scene area and hunt down Richard Harris. 

The TV series hints at a larger conspiracy theory throughout the show surrounding The Pit  and other facilities throughout the series suggesting a more complex story beyond the killers escaping The Pit’s. The team of FBI Investigators include agent Henderson, CIA agent Jacob Hassani, and other agents that were overseen by the pit’s warden Oliver Odell. The alleged serial killers that escaped The Pit have gone through psychological and physical experiments. 

  The main cast and key characters are actress Melissa Roxburgh ( Bex Henderson ), Josh Mckenzie ( Shane Florence ), Sara Garcia ( Jennifer Morales ), Nick Wechsler ( Oliver Odell ),  Patrick Sabongui ( Ryan Hassani ), Zabryna Guevara ( Elizabeth Mallory ) The ninth episode is set to premiere on NBC television on March 31st, 2025.
