For the first time in three years, the Kansas City Chiefs have won the Superbowl. The win came in a nail-biting game against the Philadelphia Eagles that had a final score of 38-35.

Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, threw three touchdown passes and was named the game’s most valuable player.  Donna Kelcie became the first mother to have two sons play in the Super Bowl against each other; Jason Kelcie plays for the Eagles and Travis Kelcie plays for the Chiefs. Mamma Kelcie stole the show when she wore her split jacket (one side for the Eagles and the other for the Chiefs).

Rumors have begun to circulate that this was Chiefs head coach Andy Reid’s last big game. It is his sixth season coaching the Chiefs. As the Chiefs were down at the half, Patrick Mahomes had an encouraging speech for his team that helped them push through the rest of the game and win with seconds left in the game.
