A highly awaited Homecoming after four away games in a row, lifted spirits in Millbrook’s student section. High hopes for a win were given to the Millbrook Wildcats when a pink and yellow sky lit up the football field. When this sunset became full bloom, the whole student section lit up with excitement and anticipation. The sight of people pulling out their phones to capture this engaging sight brought excitement in the air and a craving for a sixth consecutive Millbrook win.

This picture of the month showcases a beautiful sunset casting over both the football field and student section. The Elite Wildcats and the Junior Varsity and Varsity Cheer team came together to create a united Millbrook front against our rivals, Heritage High school. Berkeley Sumner, a Millbrook Maniac Senior, says that she is “so glad there was such a beautiful sky for the last Homecoming game” and that “it felt magical seeing everyone admire nature and Millbrook’s amazing football team.” Berkeley’s statement goes to show how much this sunset meant to Millbrook’s students section, especially the Seniors who were experiencing their last homecoming game.
