The ACC and NCAA has officially agreed to bring their championship games back to the state of North Carolina after HB2 has been repealed. The ACC released a statement saying that the reason they originally took the games out of NC is because of that law. Beginning next year the the Dr. Pepper ACC Football Championship Game will return to Charlotte. With this also came the news that the NCAA is returning their championship events as well. This means that March Madness games are coming back to NC. These events will be held in either Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Cary, or Raleigh. Other sports events may return to the state now as well.
