Tomorrow, October 26, President Trump is allowing the release of files from the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. In a tweet on Saturday, the President made this announcement to the surprise of some. Congress set this release date a number of years ago, but many thought the release would be blocked. However, it is known that Trump has an interest in these files, and even called out republican foe Ted Cruz’s dad when running for election, saying he had a role in the assassination. Many have warned President Trump against releasing these documents, as they believe that it will raise countrywide controversy. It is important to note that not all the information in these files may be true, and some feel that it may  lead to more confusion amongst the public because it  may be taken  out of context. The president does have the ability to release just certain files and keep others private in order to keep public safety in check.
