If you love going to the NC State Fair in the fall, this is another event you would love to attend! The Got to be NC Festival ends this Sunday. With free parking, admission, and exhibits, this is the perfect way to end your weekend. The gates open at 9 a.m. tomorrow  at the NC State fairgrounds.

This festival exhibits all that North Carolina has to offer. Multiple vendors are set up in the Homegrown Marketplace presented by Lowe’s Foods. From peanuts, sauces, and popcorn, these companies provide every North Carolina flavor. This event will also include a barbecue cook off and cooking shows.

If you are looking for a thrill, you will be happy to know that Got to be NC features over a dozen carnival rides. Tickets are $1 each, or you can take advantage of the Ride All Day wristband for $20! If you aren’t a rides person, there are also several other key exhibits to stop by. Gringo the Trick Pony will be making an appearance, as well as magic shows, and even a rodeo. If you rush out tonight only, you can catch the fireworks at 9:15 p.m.

If you are looking for plans and want to get out with your family, stop by the fairgrounds for the Got to be NC festival and learn what it means to be a North Carolinian. Arrive with an empty stomach and leave with a happy soul!
