With the LA Lakers starting their season off with 0 wins and 5 losses, Star Forwards LeBron James and Anthony Davis led the team to their first win of the season against the Denver Nuggets, 121-110.

Russell Westbrook also provided some much needed energy as he gets used to his new role from the bench. The 33-year-old came on the court to score 18 points, while grabbing eight rebounds and eight assists. “I love watching my teammates flourish honestly, I get joy by seeing others do great; my whole career, what lifts me up is to see others do well.” Westbrook told reporters. Lakers Head Coach Darvin Ham told reporters, “Tonight, we needed to prove something to ourselves. Not the world, not the media, to ourselves. I feel great about how we responded and played throughout the game.”

The LA Lakers will now look to take the momentum from this win to their next game against the New Orleans Pelicans on November 3rd who are 4-2 this season.
