On January 9th, longtime SEC powerhouse Georgia put on for its city in the National Championship against No. 2 ranked Texas Christian University.  The blowout ended in a record-breaking 65 points put up on TCU versus their 7, which is the most scored on any team in College Football history.

The Bulldogs go back to back keeping the natty title in Athens. Last year, Georgia faced Alabama defeating them 33-18 which is still incomparable to TCU’s loss to the Bulldogs. Georgia’s star quarterback Stetson Bennett went 18/25 on completions, 304 yards, and 6 total touchdowns torching the Horned Frogs’ defense. Bennett was taken out of the game with 13 minutes left, up 52 points, and was waved away on his final college football game with a standing ovation.

Even with multiple seniors leaving, including 2x National Champion Stetson Bennett, the Bulldogs still have much to look forward to with the No. 2 recruiting class and a 4-star quarterback in line to start.
