All the musicians mentioned above striking a pose on the red carpet!

The music industry’s biggest night happened last Sunday. At the 2024 Grammys, various singers, songwriters, and producers took the red carpet by storm. Here are Cat Talk’s top picks from the night!

First on our list is Peso Pluma. The Mexican singer-songwriter wore a black Louis Vuitton suit with silver detailing around the torso. The white button down underneath the suit jacked was adorned with turquoise buttons. To finish off the look, a pair of black sunglasses with metallic silver detailing.

Next up, Dua Lipa. The Albanian singer walked the red carpet wearing custom Courrèges, with Tiffany & Co. jewelry to accessorize. Her silver gown had a deep v-neck, paired with slits at Lipa’s hips. Her deep maroon hair and neutral smokey eye complimented her outfit perfectly. Lipa told interviewers that she, “Feels a bit Joan of Arc energy in it. A bit like a warrior.”

Third up we have Victoria Monét. Her Versace gown was a beautiful satin brown, and the corset at the top fit her so well! The dress had a long train that made this look so sleek. Monét’s outfit was finished off with pink gold Bulgari jewelry.

Moving on, Jon Batiste was another musician who caught our eye! He was another singer who wore Versace that night. He wore a glittery set, consisting of a jacket, skirt and pants. His heeled dress shoes and silver jewelry complemented his outfit very nicely. Interviewers on the carpet asked Batiste how his outfit reflects his own personality and values, to which he replied, “It says that I’m here to be the light, because the light is in me, the light is in us, the light is in all of us. It shows people that if you’re a fan of me, you can be a fan of yourself. You can be somebody that believes in yourself, and you can step out there and let your light shine.”

Last but not least, Jordin Sparks! The American Idol winner strutted down the red carpet in a stunning black gown. The corset paired with a train seemed to be a trend this year, and Sparks executed it flawlessly. She wore open toed heels, and no other jewelry but her wedding ring!

Overall, the red carpet at the Grammys this year was a success! We congratulate the winners from this year, and can’t wait to see what they do next!
