Picture of The Month: Juniors win Powder Puff

Picture+of+The+Month%3A+Juniors+win+Powder+Puff

Current students at Millbrook have never experienced Powder Puff football. Girls from each class competed for the title in a series of flag football games. Each class was coached by current members of the varsity football team. Boys were chosen to be cheerleaders and were coached by members of the varsity cheer team. The cheerleaders cheered on the teams, performed stunts and ran onto the field in celebration of plays. The first game of the night was Sophomores vs Juniors. The Juniors came out on top. The second game pitted the  Freshman vs Seniors. After a very tight match,  the Seniors ended up winning. In the final game the Juniors played the Seniors. After a hard-fought match, the Juniors were victorious.

The Junior team was coached by Mason Fortune, Jojo Campbell, Chris Newcomb, and Ben Roberts. After they won the Juniors were presented with a team banner and individual trophies. Millbrook High School sends special thanks to the students, athletes, and faculty sponsors who were willing to organize,  participate, and attend this successful fundraising event.
