After the Grammys, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker showed up at the One Love Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas to tie the knot. Without any preparation, marriage license, or family, the couple walked down the aisle. 

  Unplanned and last minute, Kourtney posted photos from the ceremony on her Instagram. With her photos, she wrote: “Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2 am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect.”

January 2021: Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker start dating

  After years of friendship, the pair turned romantic in early 2021. People who knew them said they had been dating a while, and Barker had liked Kardashian for some time so it was only a matter of time before the two became official. “They’re in Palm Springs together. They’ve been dating for about a month or two.” Their friend, who remained anonymous, said, “They’ve been friends for a long time, but it turned romantic. Travis liked her for a while.”

  Around a month after news of their relationship broke, the couple announced their romance on social media. After spending their first Valentine’s Day together, Kardashian shared a photo of the couple’s hands intertwined. 

April 2021: Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker enjoy a family trip with their kids

  Bringing their families together, Barker and Kardashian’s kids enjoyed the snow in Deer Valley, Utah. The couple each had three kids with their exes: Kardashian has Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7. While Barker has Landon, 18, Alabama, 23, and step-daughter Atiana, 23. 

  Travis Barker explained on The Drew Barrymore Show how much easier it is to date a fellow parent. “I’m spending time with a woman who’s a great mom, who’s a great friend and you don’t have to worry about any of those things,” he said. “It just comes natural — it’s like a maturity thing.” 

August 2021: Travis Barker takes his first flight after his 2008 plane crash with Kourtney Kardashian by his side

  Kardashian supported Barker in his first airplane ride since the deadly 2008 crash, which left four people dead and Barker covered in third-degree burns. 

  Friends of the couple say Kardashian never forced Barker into anything; she was extremely supportive through it all. While in an interview with NYLON, Barker opened up about his experience and how Kardashian helped. He said, “I made a deal with her that she had just said to me, ‘I would love to do so much traveling with you. I want to go to Italy with you. I want to go to Cabo with you. I want to go to Paris with you. I want to go to Bora Bora with you,'” he recalled. “And I said, ‘Well when the day comes you want to fly, I’m telling you I’ll do it with you. I would do anything with you. And just give me 24 hours’ notice.’ And that’s what she did.”

October 2021: Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker get engaged

  After less than a year of being together, Travis Barker got down on one knee to propose to Kourtney Kardashian. Kardashian shared the news by posting numerous pictures of the pair along with Barker’s beachside proposal. Barker worked with a jewelry designer to create the perfect, gorgeous diamond ring for Kardashian.

March 2022: The new Kardashian Hulu series trailer revealed it will feature Travis Barker

  In March, the trailer for the new Kardashian series was released. In the teaser, the audience was thrilled to see Kardashian and Barker featured as a couple. Kardashian later came out and said, “I definitely hold my relationship really close. It is so sacred to me and I am very protective of it.” She followed this by saying her relationship would not be her main storyline because it is something she keeps close to her. 

March 2022: The couple has a Las Vegas wedding

  Following the aftermath of the 2022 Grammys, the couple has their Las Vegas wedding at the One Love Wedding Chapel. Although later it was confirmed they did not have a marriage license, this did not stop the couple from celebrating their love while dancing to Elvis. The hope of their official wedding is rumored to be later this year near fall.
